Dayna, my friend Ryan, and I went up to Blackcomb on Saturday, and I have to say it was one of the best days riding I've ever had. There wasn't bucketloads of powder, but the sun was out, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, the runs weren't too busy, and the snow was soft. No pictures unfortunately, but there is a slim chance that a good semaritan may email me some picture from one of our crazier runs of the day. Everything kind of fell together, we were hitting perfect runs, small lineups, and the stars were aligned. Until we tried to go home that is. There was an accident outside of Lions Bay at approx noon, and the Sea to Sky highway was closed until 8pm. Bad news for those of us trying to get home. We sat in my car for almost 5 hours. It all worked out in the end, as Speedo is over in Van for the weekend. Haven't seen him since Sept or so when he moved to Victoria.
It's late.. bed time..
